THE SUMMIT EXPERIENCE

More than a conference.

The Global Youth Summit will combine ideas, interaction, experience and opportunity. The final programme will be developed around several core areas.

Global Conversations

Meet people working across business, technology, science, culture, entrepreneurship, public life and other fields.
Hear their experiences. Ask questions. Challenge ideas. Discover possibilities.

Youth Leadership

Explore what leadership means before you have a formal title.
Think about responsibility, decision-making, communication, collaboration, confidence and contribution.

Real-world Challenges

Young people will encounter questions and problems that do not come with a model answer.
They will be encouraged to investigate, discuss, create, decide and present.

Global Perspectives

Meet and learn alongside young people from different schools, countries, cultures and backgrounds.

Future Pathways

Discover different industries, professions, organisations and possibilities for the future.

Ideas & Expression

Ask questions. Share perspectives. Present ideas. Listen to others.
The Summit will create space for young people to have a voice — while learning how to use that voice thoughtfully.

Learning By Doing

Experience the World. Don’t Just Hear About It.
The Summit reflects the educational philosophy at the heart of LBSC: Reimagined Education. Learning by Doing. Young people will not simply be passive audiences. Where appropriate, the Summit experience will include challenges, discussions, collaborative activities, presentations, encounters and opportunities to apply ideas.
Because some things are better learned by doing.
